We had a cracking festive period, seeing loads of family and friends, and eating and drinking plenty.
Ploughed through 3 hours of rush hour Leeds traffic to watch Rovers play Sheffield Wednesday. Cold night, long drive, not the most exciting game, but a fifth win on the bounce so worth the trip. And a first league goal for Makhtar Gueye who quite frankly looked shocked when he bundled it in.
The run up to Christmas saw the return of the Elves on the Shelves, this year with some input from the kids. See below for example:
We hosted both Christmas and New Year’s Eve… Lovely fun throughout and a great test for the new kitchen extension. Managed to squeeze 15 round the table so not a bad effort.
